Hi,

my name is hillary ginn and my grandfather's name was commodore perry shryock and i am curious to know if he might be part of this geneology. I have little to no information about him other then he lived here in tulsa oklahoma and had a brother named gordon shryock.

Thank you,
Hillary

Hillary,

Glad you dropped in. I haven't heard the name before so I can't confirm that he is a close relation. I know that there are Shryocks' in OK and KS but I haven't run across any that are a part of this branch of the tree. Since the name is a misspelling, I'm pretty sure that most if not all Shryock's are related somewhere back. I'm not really an expert on genealogy I just wrote the web page but maybe someone else here will respond. Things are just a little slow during the summer.

Welcome to the site and check back often.

Cousin Bill

I find nothing on Perry or Gordon. I am from Oklahoma (Enid, Sharon, Woodward roots). Try LDS family search. If you get dates and spouses, I can help go back in time to the 1600's.
